I'm rebuilding my head on my 1g in preperation for some serious tuning this summer...looking to get ~750-1000hp. I want to take my head in to get it ported, do I trust some machine shop guy to do it properly by hand, or has anyone made cad sheets for that application so I can get it cnc'd? i assume valves(+1mm) and possibly cams(fp2 or fp3) would have to be taken into account, along with displacement(2.37l stroker).

Also how do you calculate how much air(lb/min) and fuel would be needed to support that hp?

thanks in advance for any input!

I don't know if they CNC the head, but a good place to start would be talking to Dave Buschur...or Dan Paramour.

I know Dave has made countless engines 750 hp+

Dan Paramour has built tons and tons of monster engines. He is an awesome porter. Only problem with finding him, is I am not sure where he works now.

Later,
Patrick
