Anyone know if they sell some sort of metal or poly bushing to replace the one in the picture?

I have never seen a bushing for that location. There is a metal spacer you can buy for the shift cable bracket itself that connects to the tranny.
 
I'm not even sure that it's a bushing, it might just be there to cover the bolt.
I had a lot of play at the shifter then I added a rubber washer in between and it took a lot of the play away.

But I bought the spacer off of ebay for cheaper and it is two solid pieces. Works great.
