I went to install my B&M short throw and noticed one the shift cables seems to be missing a bushing or insert. Right now there is only rubber on the end of the shift cable and it does not fit snugly on the pin on the shifter.

The portion I am talking about is shown here.

Yes that is exactly what you are looking for, i myself used heater hose connections and did a little bit of modifications to them so they would work for shifter bushing. Works like its brand new.

Great! Thanks for the help

Omgggg ive been looking for these for a year!!!!

Whats the part number for the other one?

24594b?

Looks like it is MD772172.

That part number is for cars made after June of '98. There is a different one for cars before that. Let me know if you need the other number.

Im a 99 :) thanks!

Edit: that part number does not work for the other one. it would not be an MD number it would be an MB same as the bushing pictured in its package. they are all the same part number with the exception of the one ending in E

i need all new bushings i think more than just these two LOL

the ones that are needed are all that are stared. and an addition 24594B and 24594E that is 6 bushings in total, and should tighten up the shifter. i ordered all 6 so ill let you guys know how it feels
