I finally completed all of my supporting mods for my evo 3 16g and I am ready to by dsmlink.:rocks: I was searching for the cheapest place to buy, and came across a vendor on ebay. http://http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2G-95-99-DSM-AWD-TURBO-DSMLINK-DSM-LINK-LEGIT_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33597QQihZ005QQitemZ150023119105QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWD1V

It says they are a licensed vendor and everything seems legit. With a best offer of $500, I doubt I can beat that price anywhere. I was wondering if anyone has bought DSMLINK off of ebay yet? If I can save some $$$$$, I am all about it. Any thoughts are welcome.:dsm:

I am a 2gnt'r, so I don't know much about how DSMlink is sold.

Although, I would be leary for the fact that the listing has to point out a couple times that it is legit. Definately wait for other opinions. :)

I bought mine from the seller 2gturbogst on ebay and it was $500 shipped so I saved some money. He ended being an authorized reseller. I love using it.

Considering any authorized seller anywhere else has to go through ECMTuning to get the DSMLink prom chips, the OBDII dongle, and access to the forum, and they all charge similar prices to what is found on the DSMLink homepage, I don't see how an "authorized eBay" seller can offer it for significantly less without taking a loss on each one sold. Also, 90% of the Ebay ad is copy/pasted directly from the DSMLink website, with the underlined links linking directly TO the DSMLink site.

Do yourself a favor and buy it directly from DSMLink. The customer service, technical support, knowledge that the product will be legit and warrantied, not to mention the personal contact with the owners and operators of the company, is worth the extra money. Not only that, but if you need the socket service done, the only people I'd trust to do it are the DSMLink staff. If you have it done at the local TV repair shop because the guy working there knows how to solder really well, if there's ever a problem with it, you may have trouble getting DSMLink to help you out since they can't gaurantee the quality of someone else's work.

If you really want to save a few bucks and buy it from this ebay "authorized seller", contact Thomas Dorris, or any of the staff at DSMLink, and ask if this seller is indeed authorized by them.

I bought my DSMLink from this same person. Works well and saved me money. No complaints from buying from this seller off Ebay.
