buy or not!?!?!??

theres a reak clean 99 tsi with 34k original miles near my house for sale. the guy who has it bought it from an auction and had trouble a few weeks later. he said it runs but blows white smoke and it over heated so most likely has a warped head. its got greddy fmic, hks wastegate, hks bov, unknown turbo (possibly t28), dsbc, haltech e6k, rc 550's, 225fp, fpr, 3"exhaust. hes askin 6000 for it but i dont know if it would be a good deal?? maybe buy it and swap all the parts onto a 6bolt?? please help

they didn't make talons in 99 .. don't buy it if he tells you it's a 1999.

word of advise-

dont buy a car with a known problem unless your pockets are deep enough to afford the worst that can happen [ blown motor ].

if you've got 10k to kill.. SURE; but then again, maybe you'll get lucky and it IS only the head.. then you're set

yea im a college kid and dont have a whole lot of money... i just cant decide whether to take a chance hoping its only a head gasket or warped head

or find out whats wrong nad if you fix it and it isnt the problem refund the money anbd the parts/labor
