I am getting ready to get my head built. I was wondering if anyone had good or bad luck with buschur heads. I am looking into the stage 3 head. likes, dislikes just wondering?

Curt Browns head build is the best deal PERIOD... If I didn't have $1200 into an intake manifold and another couple grand into a built 1g head already that is the exact route Id go with one of his 2G race heads..

Ditto. The springs and valves alone are roughly $600 in that build.

Look into FFWDs or othere stage one heads if you need your head refreshed. Keep the ports stock and spend the money on a real nice set of kelford or GSC cams and springs if you need to spend the money on the head.

im not sure OP really knows what he REALLY wants! At first he wanted 400-500whp then i see he mentioned he wants 600 whp with a gt35r then i see he stated he was getting hks 272's then in a later post mentioned he was thinking hks 264's

Its really not worth the extra cash to get a fully build head if you're not going to use it to its purpose! IMO
I would say go the route of saving money by getting new vavles, springs, ect... get the head resurfed, cleaned up and polished and what else at a local machine shop and throw some 272's in!!
I think it would be more worth your money if you really feel you NEED a upgraded head!

Im running stock head now and only plan to get 264's and ugraded springs!
It has been proven the stock head can put up some good stats!!!!

but all and all.. its your build, im only here to voice in my opinion!!
Good luck with it tho!

Again, putting HKS 264 cams on a "built head" would be a waste of money.

Im just saying if he is going to go all out and get a staged head, there is no need to spend $2500 on an AMS head or whatever other head he was talking about.Thats alot of money and ridiculous:banghead: The brown head sounded like a good deal if he wants an all out built head though.

I want to get a g35 one day and have a 10.sce car. but not now. I what I am going to go with is a curt brown head and kelford 272 head. That is what the end result will be. Question tho. I was on fp's site and looked at that new package turbo kit they have out now, its the 3176HTA has anyone used that turbo or anyting? I was going to go with the fp green but if this one is better then I would rather go with that one?

trust me YOU don't want a G35 there a horrible gas guzzler even if you idle it everywhere, burn through tires just driving normally in it; I bought a 05 G35 Coupe thinking there fast and nice... turned out there slow (well for me), they have no power from idle-3000 then it gets some pickup but then the power dissapears around 5500rpms. It can't even get close to redline in 4th gear. My g35 was slower stock then my old 96 LT1 camaro with bolton exhaust LOL!
