burning water

so ive searched for this but none were solved. but im burning water like crazy, when i engine brake it smokes real bad and i can smell it . its white. i allmost get the car running good and then this.. . i cant tell if theres any water coming from the head. i havent took it off yet. it may be a bad gasket. i was also wondering if it could be the throttle body. there is water lines going into it.. is there any chance there leaking into the intake?

Where's it smoking from? Exhaust? Enging compartment or coming in through vents on interior?

o im sry, i should have mentioned that. its from the exhaust and only from there. i wondering if it could be my turbo water lines. does a t25 have water cooling?

From the exhaust? you check your shaft play yet?

ya the turbo shaft has some play.. its a pos. i really need a new one. the play is about 2-3 mm. and another thing. it wont boost past 11psi so matter how high it set the controller. it wont even boost lower then 11.. no mater how low i set it.. .

I think your turbo is spitting water out. You look into how much to get it rebuilt?

no, ima just get a new one.. but i cant afford it yet. im thinking about a 68hta or big28. but a big 16g would be nice.

Right. Just remember to keep the boost down til you get your fuel control upgrades, otherwise you'll come in with a blown motor.

Yea, with that much shaft play. I'd say your turbo is leaking coolant into your air intake/exhaust. Until you get that fixed it's pointless to start looking else where.

im way ahead of you guys.. unlike most nooby dsmers ive done the right "first" upgrades. 255 fuel pump, fuel rail, 750 fics, flashed 99 eproms ecu. but i do appreitaite the info. i feel much better that the problem is probably the turbo. ive also got a new 2100 clutch masters and a fidanza flywheel. but i do need a few other maintanance parts before i go to insane with boost.
