Alright, so I am burning about a quart of oil every 150 or so miles and am at a loss as to why. Stock setup, stock boost, here is what happens. When I shift under boost, a cloud poofs out of my exhaust, more boost=bigger cloud. But here is the deal, when I am not in boost and let off the gas, it also clouds out?
So, say I am just about to enter boost, but then SLOWLY let off on the throttle...little to no smoke. But if I just straight let up off the throttle at the same point in vacuum there is a cloud as if I was shifting in boost?
I'm at a loss here.
And I guess while I am here I will ask another question. I have a 1990 Throttle Body and wanted to run a dedicated line to my Boost gauge from the TB instead of teeing into the FPS hose.
This is how it looks right now.
But the gauge is only reading like, 2-3 psi......whats going on? 3 of the hoses are plugged, and I am tapped into 1 of them. Does it need to be a specific one? Or should I just bag it and tap into the FPS?
THANKS!
