bumper repair ideas??

Just purchased my 97 gsx about a month ago. This past weekend I lowered it on tokico struts and eibach springs in doing so I found a crack at the bottom of the front bumper (driver side) I'll try to post a picture ASAP, any ideas on fixing it myself??

So the bumper got cracked because you lowered it and hit something? Yeah, post some pictures so we can see how bad it really is.

Not fiberglass original bumper.

Clean the top side, grind it out around the crack, then use bumper repair adhesive with the proper backing. Once that's set, clean up the bottom side, sand it out to bare plastic a few inches out around the crack, then grind the crack a bit, just until it's feathered out to the backside repair. Apply a smooth coat of the repair adhesive, sand smooth when dry. Then use a proper flexible bumper putty to smooth it out, sand flat, prime, then paint.

Zip tie it together! Just like stitches! (Drill small holes on each sides of the crack and run zip ties from the inside...) That's what I did with my daily driver, it holds really well, and to be honest, I don't mind the look . But that's me...

+2 on the zip ties i did it to my bumper and i love the look of the stiches, but clean gsx

i know what you mean but it's just one of those things that bugs me, and i do want to get a lip and just knowing that its not fixed would be irritating.
