My bump stops are gone and nobody seems to stock these. You would think they would be fairly universal and anyone would have them, but no. The car is lowered and it is definately bottoming out. I am putting new struts on hopefully this weekend, and I don't want these to get destroyed.

Has anyone used any alternative bump stops? I saw you can get poly stops, but I couldn't imagine those being very good on the shock. I was thinking of just getting some generic rubber sway bar bushings and enlarging the hole if needed. I would assume these would hold up fairly well. I searched on here, but didn't really have any luck finding anyone that had actually tried to use them.

Any thoughts? Know anyone that has done this?

Thanks for the info, I just don't think I could stomach paying $27 each for bump stops. I checked at Rock Auto and they are $14 each, but even then I don't like it. If I can't find anything else then I will just get them from Rock Auto, but even that will cost me $60 plus shipping. That is almost half the cost of the KYB shocks i'm getting.

I know this is kind of a bump but I'd just like to share this for people searching, JNZtuning stocks these for $5.87 a peice.

They're labeled as Strut bumper on their oem catalog so do a search and they'll pop up. They'll be like 23.48 w/o shipping, 33.48 shipped, JNZ usually charges a default 10.00 for shipping. (It would be a good idea to order a couple more parts with these so you get the most out of the shipping cost, Galant weighted shift knob maybe? =)

that would have been nice to know before I spent $25 each for new ones. Thanks for the info though. Hope this helps someone else out.

I'm pretty sure Monroe makes them as well. You should be able to get a set at nearly any jobber store.
