According to Geoff at Full-Race, Borg Warner is not all that interested in the "sport compact aftermarket" which is what we are. And I suspect Holset is even less so. Here's what Geoff told me about it a few months ago: dont expect to hear much of ANYTHING from bw. Their company policy is that they do not handle any of their marketing, and leave it up to their distributors entirely. we are always getting notices and flyers and such, but believe me they are not interested in marketing to the sport compact community. they are extremely busy with the diesels, audi/vw ppl and porsches. On the other hand, he says that the BW engineering department is very good about answering questions that they get from their sport compact distributers, so that helps.
Anyway, it sounds to me like it's up to the distributers like Bullseye and Full-Race and AGP and so on to make something out of it for us. And for some reason Bullseye must have decided that they were getting more cooperation from BW than from Holset. Would like to know more about that if anybody knows. Full-Race and AGP are also selling BW's now, but not Holsets. Almost forgot, heh, FP is also selling BW.

That comes as no surprise....but I would think Bullseye should at least continue to build and sell the housings even if they don't distribute new Holset turbos. It gives us DSMers just one more choice for an economical turbo build utilizing a used/rebuilt HX35 or HX40.

So does anybody even make a housing thats a t3 inlet with v band outlet.....I know the turbo trader shows one but it doesnt say what chra it fits.....?

Like i said it shows it on the site but dosent have the option for what turbo. But they have them in stock (T3 .70 ar v-band) for the hx 40 and 35. You just have to call and order. The number is 515-210-0412. I just ordered mine about a week ago. They have them.

I just called Bullseye and they do not have the market for a stainless steel option for the 73 .70 AR 3inch Vband housing. However, he says he can do one but they are costly. Nice guy though, answers my questions and basically told me to go to turbotrader to get the housing.

Will any of the housings connect directly to the 2.5" vband O2 housing that I got from FP when I bought my FP3052? Maybe it will only work with that set up? Forced Performance Turbochargers: FP Custom 2.5" SS O2 Housing for FP30 Turbo

Im interested in getting an HX40 with the Mitsu housing (because I also have the FP Race manifold)
