building a 6 block help

ok, i've got a 2g with the 7 bolt. and am wanting to build a 6 bolt engine.
i have been looking around to find some 6 bolt complete engines and found one for a kind of high price. my question is this,,,, can i just buy the 6 bolt block and crank, and a head, then build the 6 bolt up. then when it comes time to drop in the motor, pull oil pump off the 7bolt and put it on the 6bolt? along with all the rest? or would it be a better i dea to buy the whole 6 bolt, and build the internals of it, and just drop it in as a whole. i'm kinda lookin for the cheaper route but if needed i can go the other way... just lookin for some input.

to do the 6 bolt swap you will need everything. timing components, oil pump, water pump, cas, water pipe and neck ect. alot of the stuff does not swap over from 6 to 7 bolt

I think if you mean what you say, I am sure that building a 7-bolt motor would be cheaper. You stated you wanted to go cheap so thats my input into it. Otherwise, fixing up a 6-bolt will probably cost a ton more since they are a bit less common than the 7-bolt motors.

i didnt mean to say i wanna go the "cheap route" i'm wanting to make this a built drag car.
i just was trying to figure out a way to get a lil cheaper the 6 bolt route. but thanks for ## help guys, i guess i'll just shell out the money for the whole engine.
