building a 6 Bolt engine

i Have a 6-bolt motor i am biulding at school and i was wondering what parts i should use i want to go with stock internals but i am going to bore and i want to get .020 over size OEM pistens and i was wondering where i get them at and what parts should i use on my head that is where i am going to do all of my work at for the cams i am getting 272 on both the intake and exhaust what else should i do for a good build. he is def right. While you are rebuilding the engine, you can take so many different directions it is extremely important to know what you want for the end result

Depends on what your looking for just stock and not running alot of boost?? i mean when your rebuild engines there is alot you can do and diff ways to go. but i know slowboy racing sales a rebuild kit called Top line for 500 bucks and they have .20 over size bore or up to .30 size. you will need a whole gasket kit new timing parts, water pump, ect. and as for the head you could do stock or get it built up to you but stock should work with cams.

First thing is to calculate your budget and figure out your goals. A stock rebuild will handle 400hp comfortably.
