Building up a 6 Bolt

I just came across a rather nice deal on a 6 bolt short block, so I'm planning on building it from the ground up. I've got a perfectly good 7 bolt, so I figured I'd take my time, and build this motor right the first time.
I plan on beefing it up to reach around 350-400 hp. From the looks of it a ported EVO III will fufill the needs on the turbo's side of the deal, however I need help decided on the rest of the internals. I've heard the 2g head will hold quite a bit of pressure, so I'm thinking of swapping it over. In addition, do the electronics plug right up from the 7 to the 6 bolt?

I'm also going to make sure I have all the supporting mods too, including fuel work, 2.5" piping FMIC, DSMLink, intake/exhaust piping, etc, etc...

Any suggestions?

From the research I've been doing for past couple of months and considering prices. You might like something bigger than a E16G. It could get you to your goal and if you want more, you would have it. Just my suggestion.

very few people get that much WHP out of an evo16g. The stock 6bolt will hold up fine to that kind of power. Have the block hot tanked inspected and ballanced agian. Unless you feel like beefing shit up!!

Look into PTE and AGP turbos. They offer a large amount of performance for the dollar spent!

The stock motor will be able to handle your HP goals, but if you have money lying around or there is a chance for a turbo upgrade in the future I would go with Eagle rods and Wiseco pistons.
