Building a 2g...Need advice an answers.

Ok. I have a 1995 Eagle Talon TSi(AWD)...The rebuilt motor in it is givng me problems so I'm thinkin of just having my old motor built.
Options:
*Stroker(kit from local retailer has it for $2k)
*Forged internals
*4G64 Stroker?
I'm on a budget... a strict one at that...

How strict can your budget be if your considering a $2k stoker kit? There are a few companies that sell full built bottom ends for that price. What are the plans for the car? What is your budget? That would help to narrow down the possibilities.

What info do you need? How much money do you have? How do you want the motor to respond? i.e. rev high, low end tourqe??? Build what you want... or give better info on your goals. You can ask for directions if you dont have a destnation.

want to build it for around 400whp...450 would be cool but aiming for 400. highway and road race application... i wanna try and stick with stock specs... Im trying to keep it around 2k

What do you mean by stock specs?

Well, I think you can rule out the stroker kit options.

Gonna be hard with 2k... Will you be doing most of the work?

probably... wud i HAVE to increase bore size if i did a 4g64 crank? and what r the benefits of a 4g64 crank? pros? cons?
