I have a question as to what parts people are putting into there trans to beef them up while they are apart i will be rebuilding it myself with a friend who is a tech and has rebuilt a few dsm trans and knows what he is doing so rebuilding is not the issue just not sure what to upgrade.

Since DSM cars have been around awhile I would start by looking at some of the vendors who cater to DSM like T.R.E., Sheps, and Jacks.

Yea i see the parts they have for sale just wondering whats worth it whats not. I already plan to double sincro 2nd they 4th and run evo 3 3rd and 4th maybe 1st gear aswell just dont know what else.

well the impression I got is the closer to EVO you get the better. LOL

When I built my awd tranny I put in a 4 spider center diff, a full evo 1 gearset, evo 1 shift rails and forks, and all new oem syncros and bearings. I really like the taller 1st gear the evo 1 gearset has and the taller 5th gear as well.
