im going to use a g4cs block, but today i realized that the 2.4 main caps ARE NOT GIRDLED! So i got a xtra set of g63 main caps which are and i would rather use them from a strength stand point. other than having the block align bored with the g63 caps that should be all i run into, right? the rod and main journals and bearings are the same. the only difference i know of is that the main webbings are thicker on the 2.4.does anybody know or tried this?

I have a built g4cs motor and the main caps are BETTER than the 4g63 main caps. Dont let the way they look fool you.
