Wanting the most performance with the least money spent I was just wondering what the alternatives are for larger injectors. I have read threads re: Evo and RX7 injectors however are there any other injectors between the 450cc and 650cc range? What's a Volvo 850T injector flow? I'm searching trying to find out but I would be nice to find something that everybody doesn't want. $$:rocks:

Your best bet is to look is the classified ads for evo injectors. Here are list of budget injectors that you can find in the classified ads from dsms evo and some jdm engine blocks:

pink - 240cc - 1g n/t 2.0L
blue - 275cc - some mirages
not sure on color - 310cc - 1g n/t (94 se cars)
white/tan/light grey - 390cc
blue - 450cc - 1g turbo/galant vr4
black - 450cc - 2g turbo
yellow - 510cc - jdm galant rs (not vr4)
salmon pink - 560cc - evo 8,9

the galant and evos are the only ones that are bigger than stock.

goodluck

Evo 560cc injectors can be had for under or around $100. They're prob the cheapest upgrade for injectors, for actually upgrading. They can also be ran with a 2g mas, and a 16g, and the tune is pretty on. I ran stock boost levels on my DD talon a few years ago, with just a 2g mas, evo 560's, a fmic, and a 16g. Made a boring stock car, a little less stock and boring.

This is for a Gen 1 6 bolt, I have a pretty large intercooler, T3/TO4E with a tube manifold, external wastegate dumped to atmosphere, 3" pipe to the back and GM maf and maft. I need a fuel pump yet and will be running a 10 gauge feed to the back if I don't relocate battery back there. I could live with $100 for injectors!
My boy and I are hoping to get this done for $2000 including paint...

Good luck. My projects always seems to end up costing more than I anticipated but it looks like your off to a good start.

I have to post budget stuff so if my wife see's it .... Should be close though. Two $400 cars, one had cool stuff on it and was thrashed, (balance shaft bearings) and the other was timing belt but no rust and not bad. Owner was going to make one out of two and picked up another head so I can build 2 heads out of 3. '91 had a 7 bolt however I stripped anything I thought might be useful and got $76 for the hulk at the scrap yard. I'm a mechanic and I fabricate and like to have as much fun as I can for the least cash input. I build stuff and always different stuff so always learning.

The project my son and I did last winter, Porsche 944 with 350 SBC and LT1 intake conversion to keep it all under the hood. Megasquirt 2 Extra and ford EDIS crank trigger. 3" single exhaust...

The winter before that. I built the hull out of steel as well! 489 BBC. Built the tilt deck trailer too!

His post count isn't high enough to post in classifieds:thumb:

That's odd, or I had been "special," because even though you are correct about my WTB eligibility (which I had not attempted), I looked through the Classifieds, I clicked on the member's username, then I PMed him/her from his/her Profile about the part.;)

It's cool.. I just picked up a set of PTE 680 cc Injectors for $150, I wanted 350-400 HP so these should keep me safe. I have used Mallory return to tank regulators on some of my other builds so this will get one also. Walbro 255 on the way too! Didn't want to have to dick around with changing wastgate springs and 60 psi pressures and evo injectors for maximum effort runs. I'm pretty happy! I have a 14 Lb wastegate spring.. Should I start lower?

Since I have 2 sets of 450's now my Porsche gets larger injectors that I needed. I love it when a plan comes together!
