What would cause a car to buck back and forth
under accerlation
and
when decerating

but not when the clutch is in.

i would say a bent rotor, but that doesnt have anything to do with the clutch. maybe one of your spark plugs isnt sparking?

The car had the plat plugs in them.
Just replaced with NGK's
And the wires were so so so dirty and like rusty looking

Replaced them to.

Still have my problem.
What do you mean rotor?

Think they meant brake rotor. Simple check, when going (since you say it is both going and stopping) push in the clutch and put it in neutral. If it is still there, then it might very well be a rotor gone bad. If it's gone, then it is part of your engine and drivetrain.

Have you checked the rotor? Is your car getting bad gas mileage? If it is you may want to check the plugs and wires again.
You may want to check you fuel filter too.

Motor mounts is certainly one possibility. Another that happened to be back in the day was my stock 2G BOV. As soon as I let off the gas under hard acceleration, the car would buck. I replaced that and problem solved.:thumb:

I have aNT car.
And its random
It will happen after 30 mins of driving
then will go away just as fast as it came.

Then It will happen one time when Ive only been driving for 10 mins.

Feels like a fuel / air problem. Possible o2 sensor bad?

I have a NT car [Non turbo] So no BOV.
I Do not have any check engine lights that come on.

I noticed it seems to act up more after I get on it hard.
Im thinking Fuel Filter.
Ill change that soon. Autozone able to hook me up here?

Ok good one trying to get post?

Im guessing its my fuel filter,
What filter should I go with to replace in my

1993 Eagle Talon 2.0L Non Turbo?

Autozone universal?

You want to make sure you get the line going from the tank to the filter in correctly, otherwise it will leak. It should finger tighten most of the way - if it doesn't, it's not right.
The original filter itself can be a job to get out. Do it right, take your time, and try not to get frustrated -- because it can be quite so.

i am new to the whole dsm scene but i encountered the same problem in my 300zx. I checked all over and had 3 shops do diagnostics to find out that my o2 sensor went out. Dont know if that is related but your situation sounds exactly like mine did and that's how i solved it.

I have had my o2 go out before and It felt like this in a sense.

But I will try the 15 dollar filter before I dish a 100 or w/e it is for that sensor.

Thanks guys The Filter then sensor is my next task
