I dont know why but my boost gauge hits 11ish lbs my exhaust makes a popping sound and the car has a hard time accelerating. :cry: Is it an i/c leak? please help

i took the mbc off and just put the turbo outlet vacuum line up to wastegate and it still does it...should i just do a leak test?
