bronze, gold, gunmetal gst rims?

ok so i peeled as much of the cracked chrome off and sanded it smooth. i wanted to make the rims with the chrome lip but that was also peeling so i sanded that heres some pics

I definitely say gunmetal. I have the spokes on my wheels painted gunmetal with the red anodized lip. People tell me they love my rims all the damn time. Seriously gets the most attention on my car.

was the chrome chipping of the lip too? chrome gst stocks would be fun to paint.. leaving the lip chrome and painting the rest.. looking good.

ya if the chrome wasnt chipping of the lip i would have left it. it was to nasty to ignore so i cleaned them up and painted the whole thing

i finally finished one! i used 4 coats of Dupli-color gold engine enamel (this spray is very drippy so keep your distance when you spray this) and 3 coats of Dupli-color clear top coat. this as is the primer you can lay pretty thick and close without drip. i would have loved keeping the lip chrome but that was also nasty and chipping so i did it all. i may do the lip black but not to sure yet. what do you guys think? and the paint has been sitting for about an hour so it pretty much dry so that is how its going to look

^^ yes gold and green kick ass, wheels came out great wish I had a pair of these to rock on some 245/55/16 nittto 555r's drags..

I painted these a while back and they never got paid for/picked up. Its House of Kolor raydon bronze with HOK micro flake. The rim was dusty but you get the idea. I might put them on my car. They came out great the pics do the color NO justice.

the gold looks great. the only thing i have to say is that i hope you took off the wheel weights. or else when you get your rims nad tires rebalanced they might have to take those weights off. and then you have a random not gold spot....

I would have gone a tad darker but these are nice on the eyes as well.

That bronze/gold is kinda wierd looking, reminds me of "hot mustard" from mcdondalds , looks good though.. Love the white on white, looks real clean..

Both you guys desperately need a drop and it will make them look MUCH better....
