Gold or Bronze rims on a black 2G

Anyone have gold or bronze rims on a black 2g? Ive seen them on a 1G, and they look pretty cool. Im curious how they would look on a 2nd gen. I looked through the gallery for a while, and all i saw was gunmetal, silver, white.. no bronze or gold.

How do you guys think it would look?

I personally don't like it. For each thier own, but gold and bronze are pretty tacky and imo that is why you couldn't find a pic of a ride with them.

Not attacking your taste, just offering an opinion.

I figured that's probably why no one has them. But since i'm painting my stockers, i can always strip it and try another color if it looks like arse.

I happen to like black wheels on black cars.

I would pick Bronze, out of those two.

i like all of those. the 57Pro has been a huge seller, seems like anyone that sees Chunky Bai's D1 Drift Car with those on there wants them.

Id go darker bronze on a black car. Gold loks ok but to "blingy-Blingy" or Scoobie looking for my personal tastes

I prefer to remain on the silver gray side as my interior is taht color.

WIth a tan interior bronzes would be really nice.

I was debating between what I have now (Axis Se7en's) or the bronze Weddsport TC05's in bronze... it is the only color that i could get in the wedds, but they look fantastic and are about 15lbs each in 18x8"

IMO, I don't like the bronze or gold rims, but its your car that you see everyday. I like the black or a darker grey w/ polished lip, but whatever.
but between bronze and gold, it depends. gold can look a little tacky, but you can make it look nice like farmdogg55, but to be safe i would go with bronze.

farmdogg55 your car looks great man, those wheels look really nice on your car. ive also been in the market for bronze or gold rims for my black 2g. IMO i think bronze/gold rims look awesome on black cars, especially for us DSMers.

Yea, i admit, gold can look pretty tacky. I was picturing something like a dark bronze, one that looks almost gunmetal but with a goldish/bronze color to it. lemme see if i can find a pic of what wheels im picturing....

bronze = black car
gold = red car

Really any color rim will look super nice on a black car, however if I had a black car it would def be bronze wheels.

That's what i'm planning on doing. I just wanted to see how different shades of gold and bronze looked on black cars.

I like the look of that one witht he thick 5 spokes (the 2nd car farmdogg posted)
