Broken Transmission Bolt Hole! Help!

So i pulled my engine yesterday and i was trying to get it onto the engine stand. in another forum i read the u need 4 4" 10mm 1.25 thread bolt. so i used ### i was told too and while tightening one of the bolts to the bolt i cranked on it too hard and snapped the bolt hole. is there any fix for this? or do i have to rig it up somehow? i really dont wanna buy a whole new block just ### of a mounting hole.

Honestly man I'd find a buddy with a TIG welder and just make sure to get a good penetration on the weld. I'm sure you can rent one and ask a buddy to help. The tranny's going to use several bolts so as long as you get a good weld on it, it shouldn't be a serious problem.

+1 on the welder idea...that's the only way i can see to fix it. I would be sure to have the proper bolt in the hole while you weld it so the threads wont be off.

I've welded a few of those back in place. You'll need to aluminum tig it, and grind it clean.
