I broke off a bolt in the flywheel and can't get it out. I've tried to back it out, and it seems to be locked in there. I'm going to over drill the hole and re-tap it along with all the other holes. Before I do this, I wanted to know if this is a bad idea. It's a new flywheel and I don't have money for a new one and need the car running ASAP!!!!

before you drill it oversized and tap it, try drilling a smaller hole in the center and using an easy out you can buy at a local parts store or sears harbor freight, etc. Also, soak it in pb blast to help loosen it up, and if you have access to acetylene torch, than will make it easier, if not, maybe a propane or mapp gas handheld will help heat it up and ease it out.

Yeah, we tried to tap it out, but the bolt like sealed to the hole because they were the wrond kind of threads haha I just retapped the hole and it's workin like a champ :) just added some red thread lock to all the holes for that extra security :p

I used a torque wrench and all the bolts are the same size. The hole was retapped and I bought all new heavy guaged bolts. All bolts were torqued to ~25lbs
