So I was changing out my water pump on my 1995 eclipse gs and I was taking out the passenger side motor mount to get to the pulleys. There was a shield in the way of getting to the side bolt and I bent the bolt upwards as I unscrewed it because I was too stupid to notice. Now it's stuck, I think I broke the threading, won't go in or out! How screwed am I? What can I do? Please help...

lift up engine by oil pan eith wood and towels on your jack. . relive the tension on the bolt, it should straighten out once tension is removed

+1 just be sure not to damage the oil pan when doing this, next i would inspect the bolt hole that the bolt threads into and if its damaged get a tap and die set to repair the threads, then replace the bolt with one from a dsm at a junkyard.
