Ok, so I was trying to remove my fuel pump to put in my Walbro 255 fuel pump and the metal fuel line that is attached to the fuel pump assembly/cover broke off. It was sooooo rusted/worn/old that it broke while I accidentally budged it. I was wondering if anyone knows of any way to fix this or what I'm going to have to do. The fuel line broke right at the top of the assembly/cover so I can't just connect a tube to it.

would a ss feed line fix my problem? where does it run from and to?

A ss feed line will require some custom modification to your fuel pump housing. It runs from the top of the housing, under the car, and connects to the bottom of the fuel filter. This will replace the hard line that is currently there.

Could you post up a picture so that we can see what you have to work with? It'll make it easier for everyone to help you.

Here's a few links about installing a ss feed line:

is there any place i can buy that kit(all the fittings) from that's on that first link?

Here's a kit from SBR:
Slowboy Racing, Inc. :: DSM :: Fuel :: Fuel Line Kits :: SBR Tank to Filter Fuel Feed Kit

And if you've never worked with ss line before, here's a few articles on how to attach the AN fittings:

http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/newreply.php?do=newreply&p=151383935

I would also take a look at this site as it has some good info (and also some info if you want to buy all the parts instead of the kit):
SteveTek Labs Research: High Flow Fuel Delivery System

would that kit work? it says its from the filter to the rail. don't i need something from the pump?

To convert to the SS feed line, you simply need to install a bulkhead -AN fitting into the pump plate housing. From there run a high pressure hose down to the top of the pump using a -6AN barbed adapter and clamp it. Clean the seal and drop the assembly back in.

Run your SS line up to the front of the car from there. Now would be a good time to install an aftermarket fuel filter and go SS right up to the fuel rail. You will need to tap the rail to accept -AN fittings or buy the adaptor piece that bolts right up (seen in the fuel feed to rail kit.)

Do you know of a place online to get the 90 degree bulkhead connector -6an, bulkhead nut, Barb to -6an fitting?? I tried to look at several sites online with no luck.

To run the full fuel SS line i'll have to get the tank to filter and filter to rail kit from slowboy, huh?

Ok, I found almost all the parts I need except for the barb to -6an adapter. I can find them in male but I'm pretty sure I need the female to connect it onto the 90 degree bulkhead -6an connector. Anyone have any ideas?

That is the setup that I'm going to have to do, I found the bulkhead, but I cant find the barb to -6an fitting. All I can find is the male, I need female.

don't worry about the Nylon washers... Earl's makes aluminum AN bulkhead fitting crush washers... I ordered then along with the bulkhead fitting for a 1 stop solution. -Plus they provide MUCH better sealing vs nylon, IMO.. I used them myself:

Thanks dude. Also, I wanna tap my rail for a AN. Is this the piece I need to get if I want to cut the ears off of the rail, and tap it in?

Or is there a different one. -6AN 1/2NPT? Cant remember what size to tap the rail with.
