Quick question guys and gals. I snapped a bolt inside my BEP exhaust housing for my hx40. It was one of the bolts near the exhaust wheel. I think it is one of 6. My question is can I run the car like this or will it leak oil/air through the broken bolt?

It will more than likely leak and end up warping the housing, I would not recommend running it like this. Just take it to a machine chop and have it removed, can't be more expensive than $30.

Get a drill and a bit for steel and have at it NBA sure to use cutting fluid often while drilling it out.

i had 2 snap off on my 14b before we tried everything to get them out even tried welding nuts and plates onto them to get them out. ended up having to tig weld on piece of metal sence it will keep the bolt cooler inside the housing. fyi costed me $44 bucks last time i had to have 2 removed so its kinda pricey

Thanks for the help and suggestions.

Random question: So when I turn the car on, I see around 100-105 psi of oil pressure (at the ofh), yet I have no leaks or "back up" from my oil return line. However, when I drive the car and see at most 65-70 psi of oil pressure, it does leak. How can it leak while driving at 70 psi but not at idle even though it is seeing an excess of 100psi.
