Spray some PB plaster on it and let it sit. Then heat it up. Remove the heat and spray it with PB blaster again. Let it sit a little bit longer. Then take some vice grips and grab it. It should break free much easier now.

Now that I'm looking at the picture again, are you sure that's not a stud? If part of it's threaded, try to stick two M10x1.25 nuts on it. Tighten the bottom one against the top and then you can remove it like a bolt. The heat and PB blaster trick will still help.

It is/was a stud. I have one sitting right in front of me. Try the PB Blaster and heat. If you can double nut it, see if you can make it back out that way. If it still won't turn, hit it with some more heat and flatten two sides of the stud so you can get a really good grip on it with some vise grips and make that sucker come loose. Get as much torque as you can and try to snap it loose instead of applying a gradually increasing pressure. If it breaks then, well, it's time for a punch, some really hard drill bits and a screw remover.

You can try to drill it out in the center and use a bolt extractor but I'll tell you from first hand experience that there is a good chance that it (the extractor) will just break off. I would just call up a local machine shop and have them remove it. On my turbo housing, I tried for hours and just ended up breaking 2 tools. Took it to a machine shop and they got it out for like $30 bucks. Well worth it in my opinion.

the stud in your pic, looks way to small to even get a good grip with vice-grips. im sure its just rounding off of it correct? yea your best bet might be a machine shop. there's a place local to me called, Whit disintegrating. they specialize in "MELTING" broken bolts outta hard to reach/get out area's. i think its some were in the area of $15-20 per broken bolt. not bad imo.

yea that's porb a good idea do i just put a new stud in do you know what size it is

SBR sell it for $8 bucks, seems terribly expensive. ExtremePSI has it for $6 but they have a stupid $7.50 handling fee on every order. You could also try your local dealership.

The bolt is M10 x 1.25 x ?. I'm not sure of the length but I'm sure someone will know. It needs to be a very high quality bolt though or else it will just snap off again.
