Sooooo last night I was, about 30 miles from my house, and I smelled something burning, and just ignored it, because I thought that it was just the smell of one of my friends doing burn outs, then I noticed my engine bay was really hot, so I parked at sonic and hung out until it called down, and then I continues home, and then I began to smell coolant, and then my battery light and brake light came on and I lost power steering, and it started to pour out steam, do I stopped and let it cool down some, and by that time I was about 2 miles from my house so I kept driving, and I'm wondering the likliness that I could have blown a head gasket, it was raining, and wasn't too warm out, so I'm hoping that's my saving grace, idk how hot it was because my temp gauge doesn't work.

You may have just learned an expensive lesson on when you have a problem to shut it off.
$20 belt may have just cost you a rebuild.

After it boiled over did you put more coolant back in before you drove again? Was it puking out of the overflow? Is there coolant in the oil?

Did you not look under the hook when you stopped at sonic? You should have located your problem before you just kept driving home. If you over heated the car you could have warped the head.

With the smell of burning rubber, From under the hood, seems something may have locked up and the belt slipped over it. Time to check all the pulleys.

Smelling coolant, you did over heat.

The water pump was not working due to the broke belt.

What HG is installed? MLS or Composite?

If his belts weren't adjusted and he got a squeal every time he started it then that may have burned the belt up too. Guess we will wait to see what his findings were.

the water pump siezed, causing the belt to burn, and shread, and pop off, i found it hanging under the car, im replacing the belt, and water pump, and checking everything, im waiting on a water pump gasket to get here from nashville, and check everything to make sure i didnt blow a head gasket, it runs fine but im paranoid, it runs smooth still but of course i cant drive it with it overheating

Well, While you wait for the gasket to get here, you coiuld do a few quick checks.

Pull the dipstick and see if it looks like water and oil mixed.

Do a quick compression check.
