Broke tensioner arm bolt, can't extract...

Alright so, me being the dumbass that I am, ended up breaking off the bolt that keeps the tensioner arm in place. I removed the front motor mount and dropped the engine a bit in order to take the bolt out with an extractor...then the extractor broke

Is there a way to remove just the pin? Is it just pressed into the block or am I going to have to pull the engine and helicoil the damn thing?

The boss or pin the tensioner arm goes around and pivots on is part of the engine mount bracket, per say. IIRC, it is pressed in through the back and out the front of that piece. That bracket will have to come off if you can't get to the bolt any other way.

On the bright side, it's really not a lot more work to get that out if the timing components are off already.

Is the extractor broken inside? Have you tried using some heat to break it loose?

Ah, this is great news! Yeah all the timing components are off. I didn't even notice it was part of the engine mount bracket. So all I'd have to do is remove the bracket and it'll come out with it? Thanks for the help.

Yeah, the extractor broke off inside the bolt, It's fubar'd.
