bringing a car from florida to pa?

I'm located in SW Pa and was looking at a nice talon in Florida. Question is if I would buy a car from Florida and bring it back to Pa could bringing it from a place with more salinity in the air to a place with a lot less affect the car in anyway? I'm not talking about how it runs, but more like the structure and body of the car.

no effects, i would ofcourse wash it real good as soon as you get home, but it should get dirty anyways if you plan on driving it, so a wash is still on the list/

Have the entire underbody undercoated, under the strut towers as well, remove the rockers and have them sprayed underneath, and in the front of rear tire, actually have it oiled too once you get it undercoated! Totally worth it if you have a 100% rust free car! Id spend the money anyday and so would everyone else if they knew their DSM would rust as bad as they do.

Haha, that's the first thing that came to my mind when I thought of bringing it back. I've seen some terrible rust on DSMs. I'd like to keep it rust free.

There's a lot more salt in PA than in Florida.

I bought a car from Florida once, and it was pretty rust-free. The only thing was that the paint was severely faded, due to being closer to the equator. I could buff the hell out of it and it would go back to looking pink a week later. This was a Toyota mr2, and they didn't use clear coat from the factory on the non-metallic paint schemes.
