I just installed a Exedy cerametallic clutch and I heard that you have to do some special things in order to break in a performance clutch. I was just wondering what u guys have done?

When i had my ACT2100 installed I just took it easy on it for around 500 miles, you dont want to jump on it real hard with a fresh clutch, just dont pop the clutch and do burnouts until it is properly broken it, atleast 500 miles.

Edit: LOL you cant do burnouts, your AWD, then dont launch at first ;)

You do want to put a load on it. Go through the gears under boost on a long steep hill a few times. Otherwise the disk might glaze over and not seat well.

r u serious???? and how do u do burnouts with AWD. I have chirpped shifting into second kinda but only since i got my new clutch. And it wasnt even really a chirp .LOL

Awd Burn Outs Are Easy With Enough Power,
And If You Are Really Desperate Put 4 Spares On Just Don't Go Fast!

I Have Done Awd Burnouts All The Way Through 1st And 2nd And Chirp Them In 3rd Gear.
