Hey whats up. I'm new to this site, also new to the Talons.

So I got this car for free because it had been broken into and the kid that owed it couldn't fit it, had no money. Well who ever broke into the car really massacred the wires under the dash, like everything. I have noooo idea what goes to what and I have a maintence book. I do not know anything about wires in cars, just that black is negative. haha

Could someone please help me out with how I can possibly even start on this project. All the wires are there I think. They seemed to be mostly after the stereo.

If the wiring is truly destroyed, it would be easier to just get another wiring harness and replace the old one. I had to replace the engine and body harnesses on my gsx and it wasn't that difficult.

yah i figured as much... now my next problem would be where do i get one? also how do i know if it even is my wiring harness.. I mean there are wires still intact and not cut.

ok nice! i will have some pictures posted tomorrow. im at work right now... laaaame haha

*should be rallying.

Well here is what the A**holes did! They ripped/cut all wires that look like they went to the stereo.

How can I fix this? I do not know a THING about car wires. Also any stereo wires do not have to be reattached because this care is being built for stage rally.

I think if you do not not know much about wiring you should take to a qualified technician or get your self a multimeter and google how to test wiring but it does suck someone hacked up the wiring

it has crossed my mind many times to go to a tech. but times are tough man and its hard with the little time that i have.

I do know where you are coming from maybe you could post a ad in your local region forum and get a local dsm guy to help you out
