ok so i recently rebuilt my motor with forged internals ...my question is i got 1900 miles on the break in is it safe to travel 100 miles on the highway to get to another city?

i dont see why not especially if you have 1900 miles on it already. as long as you dont keep at a steady rpm the whole way. meaning dont stay at 3300 rpms like you have cruise control on. i would vary the rpms. thats just my two cents

You should be golden for that trip.

you should be fine. The most important part of breaking in a motor are the first 0 to 400 miles.

Did you do all the oil changes? Any flecks? And chunks?
If your going to go on a trip its always a good idea to change the oil just to make sure.

But I agree if by 1900 miles your engine isn't broke in then it will never be and your screwed. Just drive it like you would any car now. You have definitely gone past the break in stage by a long ways.

on all my oil changes the oil looked perfect no flecks no silver metal dust no chunks all clean...and i did an oil change recently all good... thanks for the replies im set to go for a benny bennassi concert then woo!

just as a precaution i would bring a quart of oil with you and when you get there just check your oil and make sure you ok. then when you get home check it again. other than that have fun!;)
