For the record - Non-Synthetic is what I have used for every break-in. Changed the oil at 25,50,200,500,1000, and then every 3000. Switched to Synthetic at my 1000 mile mark.

NO SYNTHETIC OIL !!

Use Valvoline, Halvoline, or similar 10 w 40 Petroleum Car Oil for at least
2 full days of hard racing or 1,500 miles of street riding / driving.
After that use your favorite brand of oil.

I always use breakin oil. Used Gibbs for years and lately I use Amsoil break in oil. Don't run 5W30 in these things, it's shear strength isn't up to the task. But that's my opinion and you'll get several more here.
