my left rear bake and rotor locked up. when i removed them there was only small amounts of fluid dripping from the brake lines. was it being neglected of no fluid?

from the friction caused by the brakes, would this put more stress on my axle shaft and differential ?. how should i inspect for damaged or worn axles

All this time i thought it was the differential making the noise but after removing the LR wheel the calipers pad shifted and started causing wear into the rotor significantly.

I had the same issue because my car had sat for like six years or some crap. Anyways, check out the ebrake lever on top of caliper. Mine had froze up while the ebrake was on. When i first drove it i let the ebrake out and it didn't do anything because it rusted up. So i took off the caliper and with a lot of liquid wrench and messing with it alot, I got it ot work again.
