if you have the piston compressor tool take it with you, and compress the piston at the junk yard, if it compresses fine and isn't leaking, its good

Take the calipers off the car undo the brake line and the calipers should compress with no issues , pressure is the reason they are hard to compress. so undoing the the brake lines will relieve the pressure. Make sure to check and see if the the seal around the pistons are not dry rotted.

just take a c clamp with you so that you can compress the piston to see if it works right. Pressing on the brakes should push the piston back into place.

You can also get a rebuild kit for calipers..And is not that hard to install the new seals..I did it a few years ago, mine was stuck, and I rebuilt it, never had a problem since..

It's super easy, just take your time. There is a good article in the tech archives here about it. It's also a good time to clean/paint your calipers also!

Also, no tool is need to turn the pistons, like said above, a c-clamp or a C style vise grips is all you need

you can also force them out with air if you have a portable air can. be sure to put a rag or something soft to keep the piston from getting damaged. I have also heard of people putting a grease fitting where the bleeder screw goes and using a grease gun which applies a great amount of pressure
