Brake Pedal Locked

Yesterday my mechanic installed my rebuilt engine, everything looks good so we just let it idle, today i let it idle for 2 hours because that's what my mechanic said so after that i was going to drive out of my drive way when the brake pedal was locked, i put it in drive and i went down flying had to use emergency brake luckily that worked don't know how i managed not to crash. He's coming back tomorrow to check it out, but what do you guys think might be the problem ?

when you say locked the peddle wont move or you can press it to the floor board check your brake fluid, and it could be your brake booster went out.

Make sure the vacuum line that connects the power brake booster to the intake manifold is connected. Its easy to miss and is buried behind the manifold.

yea locked as in, its locked in place so it wont even move down at all, alright i'll check out the vacuum line tomorrow, thanks lets hope its that

a locked brake pedal will not be the result of a disconnected vacuum line, something mechanical is wrong

hope this wasnt the first time the car was started. if it was this is the worst thing you could do to break in the motor to seat the rings
