Let me give you a short history. everything on the brakes worked fine, installed new trans and when test driving popped a hole in a steel hard line in the back of car, rusty line. So I ordered SS braided lines for all 4 corners and replaced section of hard steel line with new and proper fittings. topped off resivoir and cracked all 4 bleeders open to let gravity bleeding begin. once I saw fluid coming from all 4 bleeders I closed them up and had a buddy help bleed the brakes. starting at pass rear and working my way to the closet caliper to M.C. had no air coming from any bleeders but the pedal is all wrong. It goes right to the floor with little resistance, but if you pump it about 3 times it firms up and holds. during a test drive, when first hitting pedal brakes barely even grab and I have to quickly pump pedal several times to build pressure. So what do you guys think?? does that sound like a M.C. problem? I'm not really sure and i'm just about mentally exhausted with this car

You still have air in there somewhere. IF the master worked fine before you sprung a leak and now doesn't it is pretty obvious that there is air in the lines.

If the car was parked for a while could have rusty calibers that's hanging up cousing extra brake pedal travel due to not releasing fully... make sure vac is hooked up to brake booster. If you hear air coming from brake pedal when engaging that's a faulty brake booster. But yea sounds like air in system recheck all lines maybe bench bleed master cylinder first then work like you said start farthest away from master cylinder work forward, maybe run a line into a clear bottle of brake fluid off bleeder and stop when you have no air bubbles takes a couple times around car... make sure bleeders are working properly..... if you have brake fluid on booster under master its a bad master. Good luck.

yeah, I double checked with my bro. He was saying the same thing, air in the system that its probably in the master itself and to bleed it at the lines. So I'm letting the PB blaster set in right now and I'll crack the lines and rebleed the entire system and hopefully all goes well.

Ok I don't know now. I've bleed the living piss out of this brake system. felt like I've gone through 5 gallons of brakes fluid. I cracked the lines at the master cylinder, I do believe I saw a couple air bubbles but now I have straight fluid. then I rebleed the car at the calipers with no improvement. I then decided to bleed it at the ABS module and have nothing but straight fluid from there as well. I know wish I still had the rubber lines so I could crimp one off at a time to check for a bad caliper, which I believe might be my problem so I'm gonna start looking there now.
