Brake Light?

My brake light is always on...can anyone tell me why? I have search and thought of the possiblitys but can not figure it out. I also believe that since the light is always on, it is affecting my cruise control not to work.

It sounds like your pedal switch is broken or stuck.

Do you mean the one in the dash? Re-fill your master cylinder resevoir.
If you mean the taillights, clean or replace the pedal switch.

If its the light on the dash then switch at the E-brake handle may be to blame.

Thank you but not to sound like stupid where is the e-brake switch located.

I filled the fluid up on the brakes and it went away but almost a week later its back on. But after looking at the fluid it is still full. So I will look into the E-brake switch and let you know what happens.

Looking at the pics in the thread you pointed me to sounds like the problem b/c of the top of my mind the rubber boot is just like the third picture down. I will push the rubber piece back in and let you know what happened.
