My brake lights were stuck on. After tons of trouble shooting, I find a few pieces of tiny broken plastic beside my floormat. When the brake pedal depresses, a smell plastic knob lets off of a sensor that triggers the brake lights. This small plastic knob broke. What do I call this and where can I get it besides satan?

It's called a brake pedal stopper (MB151298) and I agree that if you don't want to go to the dealership or any of the supporting OEM parts vendors with the part number, a junkyard or a part out is going to be your best bet for an original replacement.
