Just got my car together and I've tried to brake boost a couple times. The first two times i tried i just put the brake on and floored it, it got up to about 3000 rpms but only got about to 2psi and i let off after about 10 seconds. The third time instead of flooring it, I pushed the pedal about halfway down and then slowly went to full throttle and it got over the hump and took off. I'm assuming this is because I was at a different place on the fuel/timing map when i was at half throttle as opposed to full throttle. Now my question if I wanted help it out more should I raise or lower timing in the affected areas?
Thanks

I advance ignition timing to increase my boost response in the spool-up area.

You can also retard exhaust cam timing with adj cam gears.

I am looking at the same sinister TC that you have. What level? Is it weighted?

Did you do an auto swap or was it always an auto? I am curious of when you hit full boost, but since I am manual I have no way to compare to my 3rd gear rpm unless you used to be manual.

It's a 10" max stall, no weights. I'm not hitting full boost to 5000, my turbine wheel has some damage and I have a couple boost leaks that are getting fixed tomorrow, neither of which are helping. Thats my main problem, I'm just looking to help it out as best I can. It was always an auto
