I have an IPT re-stalled converter stalled at around 3800rpm and I recently upgraded from a small16g to an FP3052 and since then have had trouble building boost at the line. When the temperature outside is really hot the rpm's won't even go past 2.5k . Are there any specific tuning techniques that I can use using dsmlink with timing or something that will help me brake boost better? Thank for the help.

If the fluid is too hot, the converter will NOT want to stall up. Do you have an upgraded trans cooler? (please say yes). Do you have a trans temp gauge? If not, I would recommend picking one up. Also, converters sometimes like to stick in one spot for a few seconds, and then shoot up, so try stalling a little longer. My friend has an IPT stock re-stall. It will stall to about 2800 and stay there for a few seconds, and then quickly rise to 4000.

As far as using DSMLink, I got a response from Kevin Kiggly in one of my threads. He said the best way is to use anti-lag on the launch to pull timing for boost control. Some good settings are to put the antilag activation point about 200 RPM lower than your stall speed, with 0% fuel enrichment, and 0* ATDC

You got a bigger turbo, which means you are now going to be making torque later. The ability to stall up a torque converter relys on the amount of torque produced at those lower rpm's. If it bothers you then spray a 75 shot right as you let off the brake, it will get you going.

I didn't use anti-lag, becuase it always made my car die when I let off...that's probably cause it was bouncing from 10.0/1afr to 13.0/1 afr. If you bump timing up in the rpms before where you stall at, it will get there a ton quicker. Try it and see how it goes.
