bov what kind is it?

what type of bov is this i got it for free but cant seem to find the name for the attachment i was thinking on drilling a hole on my intercooler piping and just jb welt the sucker in i heard of people doing so will it work? could it be welded by a welder i believe its aluminum and steel so idk sorry for the noob

Looks kind of like an RFL knockoff. NO you can not just jb weld it to the pipe, it will break off the first time you run it. The flange will have to be welded to the pipe. IF the pipe is steel than you need a steel flange.

Very much agreed don't jb weld that to the pipe. Who ever did that is a hack and doesn't care about the way his or her car looks or performs. I myself am a welder and don't even think of using such ridiculous nonsense. Definetly spend the money on a nicer unit yeah freebies are nice but sometime the pain in the neck ain't worth it.

And for the record the only thing coca cola is good for is degreaseing my engine bay hahahaha

Personally i would'nt even bother with going through all that trouble to use a knock off BOV. But if you really want to i guess there's no harm in trying it out. To each his own.
