Ok i have been thinking of this for a long while. Why dont people put their blow off valve before the intercooler so it removes the hot air? i have never seen anyone put their bov after the IC. If you can see on how I see it. The intercooler is loseing efficency when its placed after the intercooler?

THOUGHTS??

If you are too far or close from the throttle body it does not properly function.

Guess you two haven't seen the new borg warner turbos. BOV is placed on the compressor housing. Ultimately, I don't believe it makes the slightest difference if its pre intercooler or not. If your running a MAF recirculate it. Its a blow off valve guys. Its not rocket science. Also.. the OP is obviously thinking about the subject too hard.

I can think of a handful of factory turbos that have the BOV placed directly on the compressor cover- the SRT4 being one, as well as a handful of Volvo turbos.
