Nothing! I only used it when it was fluttering. If yours doesn't flutter, just leave it.

Okay! what do you mean by fluttering though?

The fluttering is due to the screw on top of you BOV being too tight. Between shifts if you hear a flutter not jsut a pshhhh.. Then that screw is too tight. If you havent heard what hes describing then dont worry about it.

I had some trouble when I first hooked up my type s. You will definetly know when you get fluttering it sounds awful, at least mine did. I did the single spring mod, it was easy and completely fixed the fluttering. As to your actual post, I don`t have that nipple hooked up to anything. Goodluck!
