i searched forums for a similair problems i got one the is kinda what im looking for im just lookin for a more solid answers. I have a 91 fwd that i just bought a aftermarket cheap bov, when i bought the car it had the stock bov and the hose from the MAFS had been cut short and plugged. when i installed the aftermarket bov, blows of fine but on high RPM's the motor cuts out like it is too rich, should i be recirculating the air from the BOV to the MAFS? i have a picture of the situation as well?

You should be recirculating it unless you have a gm maf and translator, thats probably why its cutting out. So if its stock recirculate it.

this topic has been covered over and over again. either you need to actually search or work on your search methods.

That's understandable....but you should've located another 1G BOV- they sell for $10-$20 on eBay in fine working condition. The 1G valve will hold way more than that thing, and they don't require modding the flange.

I don't want this to sound wrong, but if a blow off valve is your first mod, your priorities are in the wrong place.

i would have to agree. also think about this, its cutting out on higher rpm's correct? and you prob paid what, $30 for that cheap ass knock off greddy type-s? You get what you pay for. Go buy another 1g bov and call it day in my opinion
