small enough MAFs

i dont wanna sound like a broken record from my other thread about my new intake/maf problems, but does anyone thing that there is a small enough MAF that would fit into this?
its a 3" pipe

You can not just use any Maf dsm's use a karman vortex air flow meter
Put your stock maf back on and buy a k&n if you want a better filter

i dont want a better filter i want a intake that will clean up the look of the engine bay, but any ways i guess i can use a gm maf because they go on the throttle body

yea im pretty sure that is the only way to clean up the look of the intake area is movin the MAF to the uicp

the GM MAF doesn't go on the throttle body... it should be but within 6 inchs of it!!

Your other option is to look into Ecmlink or Jackal and then you don't need an MAF at all. Jackal isn't much more expensive than a GM maf and translator but it gives you a ton more tuning ability. Ecmlink would be a fair amount more expensive but it is also an incredible tuning too with a ton of support.

I don't see why you can't use the stock MAF on that pipe; I've done it before. I also don't understand why you vehicle type says "(w/ turbo)" that means with turbo.

colt4g63, i have n idea hot i would use the stock maf because that thing is massive and it says with turbo because i have a t4 but it aint hooked up yet and it wont be for a while so i just put that there

These are for cars that are already turboed though. Tuning for NT cars is not really well supported. You're car can easily be converted to being very similar to a stock turbo car and then move on from there. Otherwise this wont help you much. I just assumed that your car was already put together that way because of your description. If I were you I would change it because it really changes the advice that people will give you.

problem solved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! all i did was i took the aluminum pipe and put this seal that i got from the local hardware store and put it on the end of the pipe and tightened it with a clamp seal and put the stock MAF and filter on the other end,once again clamp seal,it was a really tight fit but its in there. i took the battery out so i had a little extra room to use, but not its back in. so now its idling at 800 and sounding great so all im going to do now is just take it back off and take the MAF off the bracket and get the rust off the bracket and re-paint it
