BOV Location

I have a similiar question to this, I am using a gm maf blow through setup. Does it matter if the bov is before or after the maf? also the spot i picked out is by where the battery was on the intercooler side of the 90 degree elbow that comes from the tb is this too close? my ony other option is to mount it on the pipe right out of the intercooler.
