i just installed an evo 3 intake on my 97 gsx but not sure were to run the hose line to???

ok on the evo intake there no place to bolt the map sensor so i bought a kit to bolt it to the firewall. on the back of the sensor i have to run a small hose onto the manifold didnt know if i could run in into one of the ports on the throttle body or on manifold or do i need to tap one???

Are you talking about the MDP sensor (sits on top of the 2g intake manifold)?

If so, you can pull a source from anywhere on the manifold or the P port on the throttle body. All it does is check if your EGR is there and functioning, but could possibly throw a CEL if not connected.

yea thats it i am sorry about the name . now my evo intakes doent have an egr but was told it would throw a cel and effect my gas mileage, if not connected

CEL, most likely. Gas mileage, no idea.
